Dad is back from the Hospital

So Dad was in the hospital for 2 weeks, a week longer than hoped. The valve surgery and bypass surgery was successful. Unfortunately he had fluid in his lungs a few days after surgery and had a blocked bile duct which complicated things. He is mostly recovered and is back home. Moving slow but ok. He still naps during the day and goes to bed early. He won't be driving for 6 weeks and mum doesn't drive. I am glad that we are able to be here to help them out with taking them to the store and doctors appointments. As long as we can squeeze them in between the kids activities...

The kids are so excited that the snow is here

The kids are so excited about the snow, they want to go sleding already. First signs of snow and they are out there making snow Angels!

Dad's surgery was successful - heart potion

Everything was successful with dad's surgery. He ended up having 1 bypass instead of the 3-4 that they anticipated. Might have something to do with the heart potion that he had been taking for the last 2 months. Here is the email I received about it from my sister.
